My brand-new pice “TIVOLI-GARDENS 175-ÅRS VALS… tilegnet de unge Gardere…(175-ANNIVERSARY WALTZ OF THE TIVOLI YOUTH GUARD… dedicated to the young guard members…)” will be performed by Tivoli Youth Guard -the 175 years old a cultural and national Danish icon from this spring in Tivoli Garden in Denmark.

The 100 boys and girls that now make up the Tivoli Youth Guard are the current face of a tradition stretching back to 1844, when the world’s first youth guard was formed as a “Lilliputian Military”.
I am so happy to write for the marching band which has long long history and also honored they got me the anniversary title for my piece.They are premiering my piece at Concert Sunday on 7th of April at 17:00 on the Plænescenenare in Tivoli and they keep playing it some time in the each parade they make every weekend.
They are picking up different repertories so if you are lucky, maybe you will get my piece there 😉
(My piece is not performed every time in the parade, some times in the concert stop- they are stopping and playing some pieces at some point during the parade.)
